I prefer to challenge my students to be good. I want to challenge my students to be better. I want to treat them as good dancers. I do not want mediocrity among my students; I do not want to treat them as mediocre students or persons, I do not need mediocre people around me to believe that I am good.
I want them to be good so they challenge me to be better and I challenge them to be better yet.

Come for a workshop with Marcelo Solis, dance at the evening Milonga, stay overnight and play on the lovely Monterey Peninsula on Sunday. What a great weekend! Body as a medium: Lead and follow.
You have to let your body to be a medium for the waves that come from my body to travel through your body towards the floor.
You distribute your body weight between the floor and your partner. The proportions in this distribution are not fixed. Dance is dynamism, so these proportions change all the time in a musical/rhythmical way.
