- Marcelo Solis is Argentine Tango dancer, choreographer and teacher. He offers a deep interpretation of Tango, Vals and Milonga with soul and understanding of the music. As instructor, he brings to the SF Bay Area the tango from the milongas of Buenos Aires, the social dance, focusing on musicality, connection, and improvisation. His friendly nature, love for tango and clear method of teaching, makes his classes highly in demand. He have taught and performed in many different communities in Argentina, USA, Canada, and Europe. Currently, Marcelo keeps a busy schedule in the S.F Bay Area, including regular group classes, special workshops, and private lessons. Marcelo goes back to Buenos Aires many times a year where he teaches and gives exhibitions in the most important milongas in Buenos Aires, such as Salon Canning and Confiteria Ideal. Every year Marcelo offers a Tango Tour to Buenos Aires to introduce his students to the culture and place where tango was originated.
